Where did my private investment go?
Start with the last document you trust. Record the legal holder, issuer, security type, date, transaction, and source. Then place later statements, conversion notices, transfers, distributions, and tax forms in date order.
Do not turn a gap into a conclusion
A closed custodian account does not prove the investment disappeared. A financing announcement does not prove your instrument converted. Mark each missing link as a question for the issuer, administrator, transfer agent, or custodian.
